What's your padel level?
Belmar uses the Playtomic scale, 0 to 7 — the same number the request form asks for. On Playtomic already? Use your profile number. If not, find yourself below. Each step assumes everything below it.
The scalePlaytomic · 0 – 7
Minimum to play: 2.0 — you can return the ball and keep a rally alive. Past that, groups are balanced, not sorted.
Beginner
0 – 2.4- Below 2.0Under a year in. Rallies at low speed, when they last.
- 2.0About a year of play, a couple of games a month. Rallies and returns at low speed. The minimum
Intermediate
2.5 – 4.4- 2.5Most strokes nearly there. Controls direction at a normal pace.
- 3.0Most strokes solid. Plays flat, drives the ball. Still plenty of unforced errors.
- 3.5Adds slice, forehand and backhand. Puts the ball where intended. Errors still frequent.
- 4.0Masters most strokes, slice or flat, on target. Few unforced errors.
Advanced
4.5 – 7- 4.5+Places the ball at speed. From here it's finishing points, pace, and tactics.
Not sure? Guess low. Honest numbers make better nights. A solid weekly club player is usually a 2.5 to 3.5.
Groups are balanced for level and good company — never sorted by level alone.
